Ingredients
- 1 Majestic Cream Earl Grey tea bag, 1½ teaspoons loose-leaf Cream Earl Grey, or 1 Majestic Decaf Earl Grey tea bag
- ¾ cup hot water
- ½ cup milk of choice
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
- Culinary lavender buds for garnish, optional
Decaf option: For a gentler evening version, prepare the recipe with Majestic Decaf Earl Grey and add the vanilla as directed.
How to Make It
- Steep the tea. Place the Cream Earl Grey tea bag or loose-leaf tea in a cup. Pour in ¾ cup hot water and steep for 4–5 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.
- Add the flavour. Stir in the vanilla and your preferred amount of honey or maple syrup.
- Froth the milk. Warm the milk without boiling, then froth until smooth and creamy.
- Finish the latte. Pour the frothed milk slowly into the brewed tea and spoon the foam over the top.
- Garnish and enjoy. Add a few culinary lavender buds if desired and serve warm.
