Recipe Details

Preparation: 10 minutes
Servings: 1
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 Majestic Cream Earl Grey tea bag, 1½ teaspoons loose-leaf Cream Earl Grey, or 1 Majestic Decaf Earl Grey tea bag
  • ¾ cup hot water
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
  • Culinary lavender buds for garnish, optional

Decaf option: For a gentler evening version, prepare the recipe with Majestic Decaf Earl Grey and add the vanilla as directed.

How to Make It

  1. Steep the tea. Place the Cream Earl Grey tea bag or loose-leaf tea in a cup. Pour in ¾ cup hot water and steep for 4–5 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.
  2. Add the flavour. Stir in the vanilla and your preferred amount of honey or maple syrup.
  3. Froth the milk. Warm the milk without boiling, then froth until smooth and creamy.
  4. Finish the latte. Pour the frothed milk slowly into the brewed tea and spoon the foam over the top.
  5. Garnish and enjoy. Add a few culinary lavender buds if desired and serve warm.
