As a culture, we have forgotten many of the realities of our past, which is just one of the many negative consequences of modern western living. Several common plants and fruits also have beneficial medical and health-promoting properties. We want to alter that with this energising concoction of herbs, fruits, and leaves.
Several of the natural components in cranberry echinacea have been used as medicine for centuries but are largely forgotten now.
Example: the leaves of the strawberry and the blackberry. Poultices and tisanes made from these bioactive-rich leaves were traditionally used by our ancestors to treat a wide range of ailments, from the common cold and inflammation to diabetes.
Although though Echinacea’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years, this herb was all but forgotten until a Swiss herbalist discovered its usefulness in warding off cold symptoms. The indigenous people of the Americas have long believed that Echinacea can help ward off more than just the ordinary cold.
To take advantage of this ancient wisdom and close the wellness gap between then and now, we’ve combined these and several additional herbs (including Tulsi, considered somewhat of a cure-all in parts of India) with juicy cranberry. The end product is an antioxidant-rich blend that has become the go-to for whenever somebody starts to feel under the weather. Besides from the health benefits, the blend’s refreshing flavour is hard to beat slightly tangy and incredibly delicious. So, get ready to drink that sickness away!
